Bridal Show

Something I find interesting and challenging is the annual bridal show that I attend. It’s interesting in the fact that there is so many booths centered around getting married. Such a variety of products, services, and things that a bride and groom can make use of to plan their wedding day, and to assist in their life after the big day.
For myself, it’s always a challenge. To balance one’s own personal tastes with that of brides and their families and friends who might not necessarily have the exact same tastes as I do in aspects such as image arrangement or back ground colors.
As I do have a great way of combining the various styles of photography, it can be difficult to find that perfect way to showcase all of those styles without over shadowing or over doing any particular one style in a 10 foot by 10 foot area. Every bride deserves to be a Diva on their wedding day, and have sexy bold daring and artistic images, yet at the same time, the more traditional is necessary too for those family members who want that. Finding the right display balance can be an interesting work of art all by itself.
So, here is my booth from this year. Each year, I tweak it and change it and I have some amazing ideas for next years….which means I need to start getting it together NOW and not waiting…because, time keeps speeding up it seems! LOL
The images really do not do the booth justice. It was quite attractive and was filled to the gills with people chatting, laughing, and having a great time. It is always so much fun to get together with people happy and excited to be planning the next big exciting step in their lives. It’s contagious and so much fun!
Congratulations to all of the wonderful women…and the few brave men who ventured into this world of wedding information overload…I had the opportunity to chat with at the show on the 16th.
Such fun!
